Macaron Heaven

Macarons - crispy on the outer shell, chewy in the middle, sandwiched with chocolate ganache in the middle

So, I've tried 3 macarons so far (not including the ones I made myself)

Sendai, Japan

Macarons from a shop in Sendai (around HKD 16)
I think they replace almond meal with peanut meal

In my opinion, they were disappointing, the outer shell was soft and had no taste in them =[

Jean-Paul Hévin

These macarons were not as good as I expected them to be. They did not taste like the flavor it said contained and the chocolate was too bitter (even for someone like me who likes bitter chocolate). HKD 15
Caramel flavor
Vanilla flavor

La Maison du Chocolat

These macarons were in fact REALLY good, even the chocolate sandwiched in it (well, it better be cause the chocolates they sell there are hella expensive, like real expensive)

They served them cold and each had a distinct flavor in it. They were perfect ... and expensive, HKD 20 for one.

Vanilla with dark chocolate
Raspberry with dark chocolate

Day out at MongKok

MOS BURGER's rice burgers are the best! So, of course, I got one.

I ordered the Kimpiri (I think thats how you spell it, I'm not sure) rice burger. I've finally given it a try - and I regret trying it =[

My sister got the seafood rice burger, in my opinion the best burger at MOS

We got dessert at Main St. Cafe at Langham Place. I tried their coffee cheesecake and it was awesome - best of the best cheesecakes I've tried.
And finally, See's candies. Amazing as always, every single piece of candy is filled with flavor ;D
